London Craft Week 2023 is back. From 8-12 May Fedrigoni Paper invites you to a special open showcase of paper artistry at its Clerkenwell London studio (from 9:30am to 5pm). Building on a rich 135-year heritage of paper production, Fedrigoni continues to explore new creative boundaries, working alongside the most talented artists and designers around the world.
This special exhibition created for London Craft Week 2023 will expose the artworks of Lisa Lloyd, Kuniko Maeda and Claire Pentlow. 3 artists, 3 different microcosms exploring the fascinating aesthetic possibilities of paper.
Lisa Lloyd is a three-dimensional paper artist taking inspiration from nature and the contrast between its delicate details and immense raw power. Dynamism, bold colours and movement allow her to get closer to the semantics of sculpture. IG: @lisa_lloydpaper
Exhibitions’ Visitors will also be able to engage with the exposed art pieces thanks to a pre-cut kit from our Sirio Color Pearl reproducing Lisa Lloyd’s iconic Bird of Paradise.
Kuniko Maeda incorporates Japanese traditional techniques and digital allowing the materials to embrace natural formed abstraction. She takes inspiration from our daily surroundings and everyday objects to generate mesmerizing optic journeys to be fully appreciated from multiple angles. IG: @kunicom0341
Clare Pentlow combines precision paper-cutting with bold colours creating pieces with a hypnotic sense of depth and movement. Her work evokes intricate and complex correspondences exploring the life within through fascinating geometric designs and patterns. IG: @cjpdesigns
